For the first time ever Tom Thumb Hobbies hosted an event for 1/32 home set cars. Although I was skeptical how well these cars would run on our King track, eight members of this 1/32 racing organization showed up to prove me wrong. While the lap times were not as fast as what we are acustomed to, the racing was very close and the cars were VERY detailed and gorgeous. The day started with two hours of practice to try and sort out what needed to be done to make these "little" cars run well on our track. Turns out very little was needed to be changed.

Dan Vloedman running a stock SCX Kassie Kahne Dodge edged out a slim (30 feet?) victory over second place Pat Moore and his stock Harvick Chevrolet. Bob Guyton and his Super Tyre equipped Reese's Chevy bested Kelly McNeil by just two laps to take third.
